Fresh off his oscar wins for the astounding Gravity, former Harry Potter (Prisoner of Azkaban) director Alfonso Cuaron is rumored to be directing Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, a spinoff film based on one of the wizarding student’s textbooks in J.K. Rowling’s series.  We know the script for Fantastic Beasts is written by J.K. herself, and though the story takes place in […]

Deadline reported after the worldwide monetary success ($103 million internationally) of the newest addition to the Godzilla family, a follow up/sequel is already in the works.  (What a coincidence, we have 2 Godzilla reviews!  This one and this one.) Director Gareth Edwards is obviously a student of the ‘leave the audience in suspense’ school set in Spielberg films, not […]

We’ve posted few updates about Christopher Nolan’s newest film Interstellar because well, there hasn’t been a whole lot released.  Last week, it was the teaser trailer which you can see here.  Today, it’s the full trailer:

While I still am a bit fuzzy as to why they’re splitting the final Hunger Games film into two parts, aside from money, here is our first look at Julienne Moore as President Coin.  I won’t say president of what, lest I spoil things for you non-reader types.  And I still can’t stop laughing about the […]

There was this one, this one, and my two favorites, this one and this one.  Our guest reviewer did a bang up job of not dropping spoilers.  But really.  IT’S GODDAMN GODZILLA, you know there’ll be a giant monster […]

We love Kenneth Branagh.  A lot.  Whether it’s his mastery of all things Shakespeare, his take on Thor, Frankenstein, or Gilderoy Lockheart, he is a character unlike anyother.  His newest film should be interesting. A live action version of the Disney classic, Cinderella set to open in March of 2015.  Here is the first official teaser trailer for it:

This is all taken from an interview over on Collider with Legendary Pictures CEO Thomas Tull, where he talks the brand new Godzilla which opens worldwide on Friday and the possibility of it and Pacific Rim SOMEDAY crossing over. Why do you think audiences now like monster movies even though they have been out of fashion for so long? […]

When you hear the term “fan film’, admittedly there is a measure of dubious skepticism that happens.  That is NOT the case with Star Trek: Axanar.  I say this because I was lucky enough to spend a day on set while filming for the Prelude to Axanar was happening, and I cannot begin to adequately sing the […]
