If you are between the ages of 20-35, chances are you know damn well who Bill Nye is.  Also, I’d like to tell you how hard it is NOT to type “The Science Guy” after his name.  No stranger to television, the world renown scientist is returning to episodic series thanks to Netflix with Bill Nye Saves The World.

The brand new description for the series reads:  “Bill Nye hosts a talk show exploring scientific issues from space exploration to fad diets. Guests join for lab demos and myth busting”. Pretty sure that means we’ll be getting some former Mythbusters appearing!

So check out the trailer for Bill Nye Saves The World:

Each episode will tackle a topic from a scientific point of view, dispelling myths, and refuting anti-scientific claims that may be espoused by politicians, religious leaders or titans of industry. Nye will welcome guests like Alton Brown (Good Eats, Cutthroat Kitchen), Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Joel McHale (Community), and Project Runway’s Tim “Make It Work” Gunn.

All thirteen episodes of Bill Nye Saves the World will premiere on Netflix on April 21st 2017, the day before Earth Day.
