    “Beauty & The Beast”: Beast and Gaston Cast!

    The Harry Potter fanbase was ecstatic when it was announced that Emma Watson would be playing the title character of Belle in the upcoming live-action adaptation of the animated Disney classic Beauty And The Beast.

    We’vce been waiting to find out who will be joining her, as both her Beast (Prince Adam) and her Gaston.  Emma tweeted these two things yesterday, giving credence to the swirling rumors that Luke Evans (Dracula Untold, The Hobbit) had indeed been tapped to play hunter and all around dude-bro Gaston, and Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens as the cursed Prince Adam (Beast).

    Dan had tweeted this yesterday, but we waited until there was a little bit more to go on:

    Yesterday, Variety ran a story stating that Luke was being considered for Gaston, not that it was a done deal. But Luke’s twitter is now stating it’s a go:

    We’re pretty excited about this news, and we’ll let you guys know how it progresses.
