    Anthony Carrigan Joins James Gunn’s “Superman: Legacy”

    We are delighted to share the news that Emmy nominee Anthony Carrigan is joining James Gunn‘s upcoming DC Studios film, “Superman: Legacy!“

    Carrigan has played fan-favorite character NoHo Hank on HBO’s critically acclaimed series “Barry” for 4 seasons. Earlier this morning, he and writer/director/star Bill Hader each received Emmy nominations for their work on the show.

    Reports indicate Carrigan will be playing DC Comics character Metamorpho, founder of the Outsiders and frequent member of various versions of the Justice League.

    “Metamorpho is one of my all-time favorite characters and I’m unbelievably excited by how we’re bringing him to the screen in #SupermanLegacy – and equally excited about working with Andrew Carrigan,” Gunn said across his various social media accounts.

    He’ll be joining Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced (“Dora and the Lost City of Gold”) as Hawkgirl, and Edi Gathegi (“X-Men: First Class”) as Mister Terrific. The film will be led by David Corenswet (“House of Cards“) as Kal-El / Clark Kent / Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan (“Marvelous Mrs. Maisel“) as Lois Lane.

    The REAL question is…who will usual Gunn favorites Michael Rooker and Steve Agee play? Rooker as Perry White? It could happen! What if Gunn brings back Michael Rosenbaum as Lex?! Or maybe as Jor-El or even ZOD?! The possibilities are endless. Will Sean Gunn have a role? (Ha, of course he will.)
