One of our favorite authors Andy Weir (“The Martian,” “Artemis”) has shared a new image of the upcoming film adaptation of his third novel, “Project Hail Mary.” Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are handling the flick for Sony Pictures, and Ryan Gosling will play the lead.

Lord and Miller are actually doing an AMA (ask me anything) on Reddit tomorrow, mostly focusing on the film. And SOMEONE (Weir) chimed in on the thread, offering a new look at Gosling as Ryland Grace.

(There’s also a rumor a new trailer may release tomorrow, but, we’re thinking it’s more likely to hit when “Avatar: Fire and Ash” hits theaters December 19th.)

*UPDATE Or maybe there WILL be a new trailer, considering what Miller just tweeted.

There will be lots of new stuff to talk about tomorrow… https://t.co/36Vk8qHUFo
