Bleeding Cool contributor Kaitlyn Booth sat down with DC Animated Films Producer/Writer Alan Burnett at New York Comic Con 2017.

Alan Burnett Talks The DC Universe's 10th Anniversary

Alan Burnett has been involved with the DC Animated universe for years, and now he’s finally retiring. In fact, at time of writing, he’s been retired for two months, but he came out to New York Comic Con to talk about the massive DC Universe 10th Anniversary Collection, which contains 30 DC animated movies.

When asked about which of his movies meant the most to him, Burnett said:

“There’s a couple that stands out and for different reasons. One is [Justice League: The] Flashpoint Paradox which was sort of a revelation to me. We were taking a chance that we could show and not name them, not tell you their history, but sort of give you hints about who they are and have a satisfying movie about superheroes. … It was a show done on a very grand scale, it was done intercontinentally, though different times, so it was quite the production.”

The huge disc set is due out November 7th and retails on Amazon for $211.39. Here is a complete list of all the movies in the set, which also includes the shorts and a bunch of behind-the-scenes features.
