The Academy Awards still hasn’t named a replacement host for The Oscars following the embarrassing business with comedian Kevin Hart and his stepping down from the position, but several notable personalities have tossed their hats in the ring.

Like Bruce Campbell, who today tweeted:

“Okay, okay, I’ll host the damn Oscars! They’d finish on time, at least.”

Over the weekend, Rob Lowe put his name in the hat too, saying he’d host as his character from the Liberace limited series:

Dear ⁦@TheAcademy⁩ If needed, I am willing to host the Oscars as my character from “Behind The Candelabra”. #HereToHelp #HollywoodDiet pic.twitter.com/AnqpJ83Xrf

Other choices put forth by Twitter so far this week have been Deadpool, Ellen DeGeneres, The Muppets (yes, all of them), Erik Andre, Donald Glover, and Keenan Thomson.

Some sources are saying The Academy is considering not having a host for the 2019 Oscars ceremony.

The 91st Annual Academy Awards will take place on Sunday February 24th, 2019, and will air on ABC.
