    PBS’s Masterpiece series has a new classic literary adaptation coming to your television, Victor Hugo‘s  “Les Misérables”.

    The cast is impressive- Dominic West stars as Jean Valjean, David Oyelowo as Javert, Lily Collins as Fantine, with Adeel Akhtar and Olivia Colman as Monsieur and Madame Thénardier, Ellie Bamber as Cosette, Josh O’Connor as Marius, and Erin Kellyman as Eponine.

    A trailer for the upcoming non-musical take on the story was just released today:

    While we don’t have a set release date yet, we do know Les Misérables is expected to air sometime in 2019 on PBS.
