"Console Wars" Heads to Legendary TV for Limited Drama Series

The 2014 published novel “Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo and the Battle that Defined a Generation”  by Harris is behind-the-scenes drama that chronicles how then-small company Sega took on the juggernaut Nintendo and revolutionized the video game industry, an ongoing battle we’re still seeing today.

Deadline says that Mike Rosolio is set to write the pilot, with Jordan Vogt-Roberts directing. Goldberg and Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures will executive produce the project, along with Scott Rudin and Eli Bush, Julian Rosenberg of Circle of Confusion, Harris and Jonah Tulis’ Flying Penguin Pictures, Rosolio and Vogt-Roberts. Josh Fagen will oversee for Point Grey.

It’s worth noting that Evan Goldberg wrote the forward for “Console Wars”.

So, Halt & Catch Fire but in the video game industry? We’re in.

We’ll let you know when we hear anything else about the project.
