The Arrowverse crossover event “Elseworlds” is right around the corner, and that means no shortage of teases from The CW.

Today’s gem we actually really like: the first image of Tyler Hoechlin as Superman with Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane from the upcoming crossover event:

There is so much to love here, this image really echos the Richard Donner Superman starring Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder. Maybe she’s asking him (via voice over) if he needs a friend.

Supergirl executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner previously said in a statement about the addition of Lois to the series:

“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse. This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”

The CW’s crossover event is set to begin Sunday December 9th and continues til Tuesday December 11th, and will comprise of the ninth episodes of The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl.
