This week, Netflix kicked off their Geeked Week in earnest with a series of short videos and teases. The idea is to promote the vast myriad of titles coming to the streaming giant this year, with highlights on the nerdiest of titles.

This morning, Netflix confirmed that Yoko Kanno, the composer of the original anime, will be handling the music for the live-action adaptation.

Also, seemingly a confirmation of a fall 2021 release for the show?!

Hopefully, we get more details as the week moves forward.

Yoko Kanno, the composer behind the iconic soundtrack of the original COWBOY BEBOP anime will be creating the soundtrack for the new Live Action Series. Also confirmed…Cowboy Bebop is coming this Fall. #GeekedWeek pic.twitter.com/6lHZQcoFR6
