Sir Patrick Stewart shared a photo this morning via his Twitter account, revealing that the writer’s room for the upcoming CBS Star Trek series that’ll see the return of fan-favorite Starfleet Captain, Jean Luc Picard.

Announced during Star Trek Las Vegas in August, the new series will see Stewart’s return to the Star Trek fold for the first time since 2002’s Star Trek: Nemesis.

This is pretty encouraging, seeing women in the writer’s room this early-on (Star Trek has had a long history of female writers).

We’ll let you know as additional information about the upcoming series gets announced.
