Today it was revealed that Yvette Nicole Brown will be taking over moderating/hosting duties for The Walking Dead San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) panel in Hall H, and there may be additional announcements to come.

In a tweet earlier today, YNB commented that she was just starting to watch BBC’s Doctor Who, which perhaps is a stretch — maybe she had no idea about the announcement breaking today — but maybe means she’ll be hosting that SDCC panel, too.

So…just saw my first #DoctorWho. I know, I’m terribly late. I see a #DowntonAbbey-esque marathon situation in mind future. C’mon Netflix!

Deadline broke the news that Brown would officially be taking over for Chris Hardwick, who reportedly will not be attending the annual pop culture convention amid accusations of abuse from ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra.

The outlet continues, speculating that perhaps Brown, who hosted SYFY cosplay competition series Cosplay Melee, may be on deck to take over on Talking Dead too.
