Season 4 of Paramount+’s next generation of “Star Trek: Discovery” returns later this year, and today a new teaser was released. During the celebrations of all things “Star Trek” for First Contact Day, numerous trailers, teasers, and tidbits about the Gene Roddenberry-created franchise were shown for the first time, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Sonequa Martin-Green returns as  Captain Michael Burnham, Doug Jones as Saru, Anthony Rapp as Paul Stamets and Mary Wiseman as Sylvia Tilly, David Ajala, Blu del Barrio and Ian Alexander are all returning for season 4.

    Check out the teaser below:

The official synopsis for “Star Trek: Discovery” season 4 from Paramount+ reads:

Season four of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY finds Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery facing a threat unlike any they’ve ever encountered. With Federation and non-Federation worlds alike feeling the impact, they must confront the unknown and work together to ensure a hopeful future for all.

“Star Trek: Discovery” season 4 will premiere sometime in November.
