Fans of Game of Thrones know Kristian Nairn best as Hodor, our favorite maybe-part-giant with a heart of gold. His loss in the series is still keenly felt, but his shredding lives on.

Oh, maybe you didn’t know that Nairn, who is also a well-known DJ, can play some fine damn guitar.

During Hellfest in France, Nairn ended up backstage with Megadeth members Dave Mustaine and Kiko Loureiro. Not just like, hanging out backstage with Megadeth (which he did) but playing F**KING guitar with Megadeth.

    Hodor!!!! @kristiannairn #hellfest

Kristian picks up a guitar (at some point) and jams with Dave and Kiko:

    Hodor! Hold the door! Holy wars! @kristiannairn. He’s an incredible guitarist .#ukulele #gameofthrones #got @megadeth @gameofthrones
