Netflix isn’t done adding royals to the cast for season 3 of The Crown yet, as today, we know who will be playing a grown-up Princess Anne.

Call the Midwife actress Erin Doherty has signed on to play Princess Anne, the only daughter of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Season 3 of The Crown will have a pretty sizable time jump from where the story left off in season 2, with the entire main cast being played by new faces (to the series). Helena Bonham Carter is taking over the role of Princess Margaret from Vanessa Kirby, Olivia Colman will be HRM QEII, and Outlander‘s Tobias Menzies is taking over as Prince Phillip from Matt Smith.

Netflix had already ordered season 4, and there are plans for additional seasons. Back in 2016, Netflix Content Chief Ted Sarandos had commented that the idea was for the show to take Queen Elizabeth from age 29 to, presumably, the current day,” with plans for the story to cover six decades in six seasons presumably, and make the whole show [run] over eight to 10 years.”

The Crown season 3 is expected to hit Netflix sometime in 2019.
