Inclusion and cocktails sounds like the perfect Twitter hashtag to support tonight’s event, An Evening with Female Showrunners.

Perhaps you’ll recall Variety’s… faux pas…with their most recent version of their ongoing writers’ room event. Out of 12 gathered professionals, only one was a woman. This, of course, caused a number of questions to be asked — where women purposely left out of the event, where they asked but unavailable, etc. — which Variety didn’t really answer so much as admit they’d made a mistake.

Amy Berg, showrunner of STARZ’s Counterpart, immediately began tweeting about another similar event. One in which female showrunners would gather to discuss “ALL THE THINGS”, with so many participants that the event will be split into two back-to-back panels.

The event will be livestreamed thankfully, so those of us not in the LA area can watch.

Tonight at 7pm PST!! Please tune in to the live-stream of courtesy of @TwitterLA. No real format so we’ll discuss ALL THE THINGS. And there’s so many of us that there will be two panels, back to back… an hour for each.

Will post the link to this tweet as soon as we have it. pic.twitter.com/yDB82Pal7j

We will also let you know as soon as the official links for the livestream.

The link will be generated right before we go live and it will stay active for those who can’t watch tonight. So, yes, video will be available. Go to @itslizhannah‘s page at 7PM PST to watch live.
