Yeah so….maybe DON’T eat those very tempting looking icicles hanging from the corners of your house. We understand- they look tempting, beautiful and crystal-like. But seriously, do not eat them.

Meteorologist Katie Nickolaou of Sioux City, IA took to her Twitter to respond to some TikTok videos featuring folks doing exactly that, eating icicles.

Nickolaou reminds us that the water that refreezes to form those lovely icicles will more than likely contain a TON of avian fecal matter…..aka, bird poop.

This is a PSA for anyone wanting to eat icicles… DON’T DO IT! 💩 pic.twitter.com/5h9el3ZH72
