2020 has been a crazy 84 years, right? If the last several months haven’t been ridiculous enough, on Christmas Day, failed Presidential hopeful candidate (man, the face we made trying to write that) Kayne West just released a “surprise” Christmas album titled “Emmanuel.”
There is so much to dissect in that sentence alone. Remember when West decided that trying to add his name to the actual Presidential ticket for the 2020 election was a viable idea? Yeah. That is totally a thing we have lived through.
“Emmanuel” has five tracks, and is described as as “ancient and Latin inspired new music,” featuring West’s Sunday Service Choir.
Anyhow. Listen to it to you want, but just be aware that it’s another thing that happened this week.
Bring on 2021. Please.
