The world premiere of Marvel’s next superhero epic Black Panther just ended in Hollywood, and Twitter is on fire right now.  Reviews are pouring in on the #BlackPanther hashtag, READ AT YOUR OWN PERRIL, not everyone will respect the “spoiler embargo” that Marvel requests ’til widespread release.

Some notable ones we thought we’d share with you (yes, we’re waiting for some of the Marvel regulars to post about it) because we’re just as hyped as you are:

Geeks of Color started off with some pretty high praise:

Black Panther is the best MCU movie ever. I was blown away from start to finish and I’m not even being biased. This was by far the best marvel movie to date. Thank you, Ryan Coogler! #BlackPanther pic.twitter.com/8Qh0hlOYAb

    — Geeks of Color (@GeeksOfColor) January 30, 2018

And quickly followed it up with this:

Don’t ask me anything about anything. Those marvel snipers you hear the actors talking about are real fam.

    — Geeks of Color (@GeeksOfColor) January 30, 2018

James Gunn finally tweeted his thoughts:

    https://twitter.com/JamesGunn/status/958244355940130816

ReBecca Theodore-Vachon (Film/TV contributor Entertainment Weekly, Forbes, NYTimes, Roger Ebert The Urban Daily) posted this simple tweet:

Social media embargo is lifted – now I can talk about #BlackPanther pic.twitter.com/p7DbrK57rv

    — Rebecca Theodore-Vachon 🇭🇹 🇩🇴 🇺🇸 (@FilmFatale_NYC) January 30, 2018

But then her thread of gifs is everything:

And the representation of Black women in #BlackPanther made me feel seen. Seen in a way other superhero movies have not done well. pic.twitter.com/xrzVP5SLu6

Editor-in-Chief for ScreenJunkies Roth Cornet said:

#BlackPanther is everything we all wanted it to be. A smart, emotional, well-told story. And just f’ing beautiful. pic.twitter.com/dvNDgEH7k0

    — Roth Cornet (@RothCornet) January 30, 2018

Huffington Post Black Voices associate editor Taryn Finley said:

I’m so excited to see #BlackPanther again when I’m with friends. Not only did it live up to the hype, it exceeded expectations and exuded #BlackExcellence with every scene.

    — Taryn Finley (@_TARYNitUP) January 30, 2018

While IndieWire senior film critic David Ehrlich had a really strange backhanded compliment:

Entertainment Tonight video producer and host Ash Crossan said:

Ladies and gentlemen we have an AMAZING villain. #BlackPanther was so good I can’t breathe. AND DANAI GURIRA HOLY F@$&?!?!? I LOVE this movie. pic.twitter.com/eMOZTdIMQv

    — Ash Crossan (@AshCrossan) January 30, 2018

    Collider Editor-In-Chief Steven Weintraub said:

#marvel does it again with ‘Black Panther’. Very impressed with the story and filmmaking. @michaelb4jordan absolutely kills it as the villain and is the best one since Loki. Also @DanaiGurira kicks so much ass and I loved every second of it. Going to make serious $. pic.twitter.com/YBrg2x3Nnz

    — Steven Weintraub (@colliderfrosty) January 30, 2018

Jen Yamato of the LA Times said:

BLACK PANTHER is incredible, kinetic, purposeful. A superhero movie about why representation & identity matters, and how tragic it is when those things are denied to people. The 1st MCU movie about something real; Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger had me weeping and he’s the VILLAIN

    — jen yamato (@jenyamato) January 30, 2018

Nate Brail had some great things to say:

Black Panther is the best Marvel Film ever made. Nothing compares to it. Michael B. Jordan and Letitia Wright steal the show. The visuals are incredible. Go see it.

    — Nathaniel Brail (@NateBrail) January 30, 2018

Adam B. Vary of Buzzfeed said:

BLACK PANTHER is just astonishing. Ryan Coogler has harnessed the superhero movie — and a really fun one! — to explore profound ideas and create vivid images of black excellence that so rarely ever make it to a giant Hollywood movie. Wow wow wow!

    — Adam B. Vary (@adambvary) January 30, 2018

Peter Sciretta, owner/editor at Slashfilm said:

Black Panther looks, feels and sounds unlike any Marvel film to date. A visual feast. Wakanda is amazingly realized, the antagonist actually has an arc with emotional motivations. Marvels most political movie. So good. #BlackPanther

    — /Film (@slashfilm) January 30, 2018

SUPER IMPORTANT: There is a post-credits scene (duh, it’s Marvel guys, you should really know better by now):

Stunning visuals. Iconic performances. And A REAL FREAKING STORY about a wealthy nation confronting its role in the world. Black Panther has the goods. Also there’s a post-credits scene. Here’s the premiere crowd racing back to watch it. pic.twitter.com/EiS7z9xbA7
