The final episode of Machinima Transformers: Titans Return series hit this morning, and the Hasbro-based animated jaunt is pulling no punches. It was announced today that voice acting icons Mark Hamill and Ron Perlman have joined the cast.

Titans Return is the second part of the Prime Wars trilogy, and we should be getting news about the third and final entry later this year.

Hamill’s voice features in the final episode of Transformers: Titans Return, which was just released this morning on streaming service go90.  He plays Meagaronus, the first Decepticon, and one of the thirteen Primes, who was banished from Cybertron for murdering a fellow Prime.  This isn’t Mark’s first stop in the Transformers universe, having lent a syllable or two back in 2014 to the Transformers: Rescue Bot series.

Reportedly Perlman has taken over as Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. Mikey Way, Jamie King, Gregg Berger (Grimlock Transformers: The Movie) and WWE’s Samoa Joe are all on board, as well as Wil Wheaton, Judd Nelson, Jason David Frank, and Kari Wahlgren.

Jason Marnocha, who has been voicing Megatron since Transformers: Combiner Wars (and is back again for Titans Return), had this to say about the addition of Hamill to the cast:

“He’s the reason I became interested in voice acting in the first place when I was a kid. To not only have him voicing in a show I’m in but getting to exchange dialogue together….I’m floored. And just deeply honored and incredibly humbled. It’s an absolute dream come true.”

Expect to see the final piece of the trilogy sometime later this year.
