Hallmark Has New Princess Leia and Chewbacca “Star Wars” Ornament

Perhaps one of our favorite behind the scenes photos of the late great Carrie Fisher and the equally as special and dearly departed Peter Mayhew comes from “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.” Mayhew, the 7’2 gentle giant who brought Wookie Chewbacca to life in George Lucas‘s saga, holds aloft the diminutive 5’1 Fisher.

The moment sees Fisher as Princess Leia in her signature Bespin red suit, with that gorgeous embroidered silk vest, smiling widely into the grinning yak-haired face of Chewy.

Thanks to Hallmark, the moment comes to life in this brand-new holiday ornament available now.

But also, let’s enjoy these other amazing photos of Peter and Carrie.
