The latest trailer from NBC’s upcoming comedy, Powerless, drops a bit more clues around how the characters will be relating to their superhero-filled world around them. Con Man’s Alan Tudyk plays Van Wayne and is the head of Wayne Security, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises. Yup, you read it right, Wayne; Firefly’s Wash is none other than Bruce Wayne’s cousin, or as we hear Van calling Bruce on the phone, “B-Dubs”.

Slated to premiere on February 2nd at 8:30, Powerless is a series about a security company that creates gizmos and gadgets to help protect the normal human citizens of Earth from being squished whenever the super-powered folks start beating the tar out of each other. It doesn’t take place in Metropolis, however, instead being set in Charm City (wherever that is).

Powerless also stars Vanessa Hudgens, Danny Pudi, Christina Kirk and Ron Funches.

Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey serve as executive producers.
