We’ve known for some time that the powers that be at Disneyland (and Disney parks across the globe) were working on something Marvel Studios-themed for a new land area. It was confirmed today that the Disney’s California Adventure in Anahiem, CA park would be home to “Avengers Campus,” a fully themed experience for fans of the multi-billion-dollar franchise.

During D3, Disney revealed concept art for the expansion, including two looks at the attractions coming to Disney Paris, and Hong Kong Disney.

A newly reimagined Marvel-themed attraction is coming to Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris, where riders will team up with Iron Man and their favorite Avengers on a high-speed, hyper-kinetic adventure to another dimension.

    Disney says that:

“Guests who visit these campuses will become part of an interconnected, global story spanning from California to Paris to Hong Kong, as the Avengers recruit new extraordinary people to join them.”

Construction is ongoing on the areas, and we’ll let you know when we hear about an expected release date.

D23 is happening at the Anaheim Convention Center Friday, August 23rd-Sunday, August 25th. Check back for updates!!
