    [RUMOR] First Casting Confirmation for Amazon’s “Lord of the Rings” Series?!

    We were hoping we’d hear something about the upcoming “Lord of the Rings” television titles currently in the works at Amazon Studios during the weekend of San Diego Comic Con, but that didn’t really happen.

    Cut to this morning, and the report from Variety that they’re hearing the first actor “in talks” to star in the first “LotR” series.

    Markella Kavenagh, “Picknick at Hanging Rock” is reportedly being eyed for a character named Tyra, but nothing else is known at this time.
