    Allison Schroeder to Rebuild “Minecraft” Movie for Warner Bros. Pictures

    Sounds like possible blockbuster “Minecraft“, based on the HUGELY popular video game of the same name, just gained themselves a new writer for the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures film.

    According to The Hollywood Reporter, Allison Schroeder (“Hidden Figures“) will be building the script for the film.

    As previously reported, Peter Sollett is still on board to direct (at least as far as we know) with Roy Lee, Jon Berg, and game studio Mojang producing.

    Warner Bros. Pictures currently has a release date of March 4th, 2022 set for “Minecraft“. We’ll let you know what we hear about it.
