Universal Studios has been taking big giant steps back into their classic days, opting to revisit the Monsters.  Previously rumored Mummy reboot is set to star Tom Cruise, and today the studio announced who will be sportin’ the bandages of the Invisible Man.

Deadline is reporting Oscar winner Johnny Depp has been chosen.  While not much is known about the project thus far, we should expect The Invisible Man to have a release date sometime after the Cruise Mummy, which is set for a June 9th, 2017 release.

We’ll keep you updated as this story progresses.
