The newest version of our favorite Mighty Morphin’ karate kids are getting closer and closer to a full roster.

Yesterday, the official Power Rangers twitter announced the casting of the Red Ranger.  Today, we know who will be donning the Black Ranger’s helmet.  Meet Ludi Lin:

The team is coming together! #LudiLin is morphing into the #BlackRanger in 2017 for the @PowerRangersMovie.

A post shared by Power Rangers (@powerrangersmovie) on Oct 22, 2015 at 10:15am PDT

Lin is also a relative newcomer to the Hollywood scene, with a scant 3 full length titles to his credit, one of which is Netflix’s fabulous epic drama Marco Polo.

The addition of the Black Ranger could also indicate which version of the multi universe series(s) this new film may follow.  We won’t know for sure til the next generation of Rangers hits the theaters on January 13th, 2017.
