CBS’s Supergirl just added another notable DC character to their lineup, and we’re a little surprised.

If you were a fan of Superman: The Animated Series chances are you know who Livewire is.  Leslie Willis was a radio DJ, known for her sensationalist style and ridiculing Superman.  In the tv series, she is struck by lightning, and becomes the villainess Livewire.

It was announced today that Brit Morgan (True Blood) will be joining the cast as Leslie.  The released quote reads:

Morgan’s Leslie is a confident, abrasive and funny shock-jock who works for CatCo Media, the conglomerate owned by Cat Grant played by Calista Flockhart (Brothers & Sisters). When an accident makes her as dangerous and shocking as her words, Supergirl played by Melissa Benoist (Glee) must stop her.

Supergirl premieres on October 26th, 2015 on CBS.
