“I Am Chris Farley”: Trailer For Documentary

Do you remember the first time you saw a Saturday Night Live sketch with Chris Farley?  I sure do!  It was the CLASSIC Chippendale audition between the less-than-svelt Farley and Mr. Dirty Dancing himself, Patrick Swayze. Even now, I can’t help but think of this scene when I hear Loverboy’s “Everybody’s Workin For The Weekend”.

Or, how about life coach Matt Foley (Farley) and his constant pants pulling up? Especially the time when young David Spade and Christina Applegate couldn’t keep a straight face.

Chris Farley was a brilliant comedian, and his loss is still felt today by all who knew him.  Brent Hodge and Derik Murray have put together a documentary about the doomed funny man, which includes clips from Farley’s most fan-beloved Saturday Night Live sketches, movies including Black Sheep and Tommy Boy.  The comedian died at age 33 of a drug overdose in 1997.  Check out the official trailer:

I Am Chris Farley will debut on Spike on August 10th 2015, followed by a VOD release.
