Long rumored and since confirmed, Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight will have a presence at San Diego Comic Con International (SDCC) this year.  You may recall the hubbub that happened when late last year, the script for the film was leaked by a disgruntled employee of Tarantino’s.  He took to the media to express his anger, frustration, and disappointment vowing that the project would never see the light of day because of the security breach.  Thankfully for fans of the highly stylized worlds of Quintin’s, he changed his mind.

The film is set in post-Civil War Wyoming, where a group of bounty hunters tries to find shelter during a blizzard but instead gets drawn into a plot of deception and betrayal.

The panel will be in Hall H (the biggest room at the con) with Tarantino and cast at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 11th.  The Nerdist himself Chris Hardwick will moderate.  The cast includes Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, Walton Goggins and Tim Roth.

On December 25th 2015, The Hateful Eight will open in select theaters in 70mm format ahead of a January 8th 2016 world wide release.
