It looks like we’ll be getting another chapter in the early history of one of Disney’s most popular misunderstood baddies, Maleficent.

The Angelina Jolie fronted film garnered an impressive box office return, and as we know, Disney loves their sequels.  The studio is currently working on getting screenwriter Linda Woolverton to return to pen the script reports Entertainment Weekly, and hopefully the leading lady as well.

What do you guys think, would you watch a Maleficent 2?

We’ll let you know as things progress.
