    “Constantine”: Latest Update

We knew the end of May would be the final word on whether or not NBC series Constantine would get a second season.  We’re technically still waiting, but we just got a bit of news from the showrunner.

Posted just now on twitter, Daniel Cerone says the show is “still alive”:

Still alive. Our best hope: midseason replacement. Utility player for NBC if new show struggles. #Constantine #SaveConstantine #HELLBLAZERS

    — Daniel Cerone (@DanielVCerone) May 6, 2015

Hopefully what this means is NBC is just trying to decide what order they want to place for a second season.  It could mean we get a half season, with the option to pick up further episodes if those do well.

Also, thanks to one of the most VOCAL supporters of the show, Mr. William Shatner:

    Where's the Buzzkill "source" now? #pretendsources https://t.co/EzcHCRUhmz

Keeping my fingers crossed, it could be the series has as many lives as Chas.
