Let us take a second to remember how terrifying clowns were after the film adaptation of Stephen King’s horror classic “It“.   Specifically, Tim Curry as an evil monster DRESSED as a clown.

Variety is reporting that Will Poulter (The Maze Runner, Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage Of The Dawn Treader) is in negotiations to play Pennywise, the aforementioned killer clown.  Cary Fukunaga will direct and co-penned the screenplay along with Chase Palmer. It is reportedly being split into two films. Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg are also producing through their KatzSmith banner along with Dan Lin and Roy Lee are also producing.

You can check out the unofficial website here.

    Still a thing of nightmares.

We will let you guys know when anything official happens.
