We will remain spoiler free for you guys, because tonight is the season finale of AMC’s The Walking Dead.

What we WILL share with you guys is the first look from Fear The Walking Dead, the spinoff series from TWD.  In this teaser, a newscaster notes that everyone “should get their flu shot because five different states are reporting a strange virus”, which definitively confirms that Fear the Walking Dead does take place during the initial outbreak of the zombie apocalypse.  So theoretically, it won’t be a JUST prequel.

This small glimpse aired tonight at the tail end of the episode, and we wanted to share it with you guys:

The new series (which comes from TWD execs Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert, along with Sons of Anarchy’s Dave Erickson) takes place in Los Angeles and stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, and Alycia Debnam.
