    “Jem And The Holograms”: First Look At New Movie

    The first official Jem and the Holograms image debuted in the pages of Elle Magazine. It shows us stars Aubrey Peeples as Jem, Stefanie Scott as Kimber and Hayley Kiyoko as Aja. Absent from the photo is Aurora Perrineau as drummer Shana. The story follows a young woman who transforms into a pop star with the help of her best friends and a pair of high-tech earrings.

    The officially released synopsis for the film reads:

    As a small-town girl catapults from underground video sensation to global superstar, she and her three sisters begin a one-in-a-million journey of discovering that some talents are too special to keep hidden. In Universal Pictures’ Jem and the Holograms, four aspiring musicians will take the world by storm when they see that the key to creating your own destiny lies in finding your own voice.

    Jem and the Holograms stars Aubrey Peeples, Stefanie Scott, Hayley Kiyoko, Aurora Perrineau, Ryan Guzman, Nathan Moore, Juliette Lewis, Molly Ringwald. The film is directed by Jon M. Chu.  It is set to hit theaters October 23rd, 2015.
