What better way to spend a weekend in December than at a Star Trek con?   Long standing as THE Official Star Trek Convention, Creation Entertainment never fails to offer fans some of the best collections of Trek guests this side of DS9.

Their three-day event will be held at the Meydenbauer Center, starting on Friday December 12th and continuing on Saturday the 13th, and Sunday the 14th.  One of the special offerings of this particular event is a very special Star Trek: The Next Generation  reunion event at 6:30 PM on Sunday.  This evening show will include Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Marina Sirtis and Denise Crosby.  A separate ticket is required and starts at $20, the online sales of which are currently not available.

Starfleet will be well represented with this line-up of Star Trek alum including: on Friday, Anthony Montgomery (Travis Mayweather of Enterprise), Jeffrey Combs (Ds9, Voyager, Enterprise), Rene Auberjonois (Odo from Deep Space Nine). On Saturday, Jeri Ryan (“7 of 9” on Voyager), Walter Koenig (Chekov from Star Trek The Original Series) and Ethan Phillips (Neelix from Voyager).  On Sunday, Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker from The Next Generation), Michael Dorn (Worf of The Next Generation/Deep Space Nine), Marina Sirtis (Counselor Troi of Next Generation), Tim Russ (Tuvok, Voyager) and John Billingsley (Dr. Phlox of Enterprise).  In the vendor’s room on Saturday will be Brent Spiner (Data from The Next Generation) on hand to greet fans and sign autographs for a nominal fee.

In addition to celebrity appearances, the non-stop auditorium show will include behind the scenes presentations, costume and trivia contests, no minimum bid auctions of unique collectibles and one-of-a-kind items, and special salute videos and previews of upcoming sci-fi television shows and motion pictures.  Also there will be an exhibit hall on Star Trek and sci-fi collectibles, and autographs and photo ops.  You can see a full list of the schedule here.

General admission tickets are available at the door for $20.  Children six and under are admitted free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Show hours are Friday, 12:00 – 6:00 PM, Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and Sunday, 10:00 M – 7:00 PM (times are tentative).
