It looks like we know who will be taking on the X-Men team in Bryan Singer’s 2016 X-men: Apocalypse; it’s Oscar Isaac.

This casting has been confirmed by Variety.  Series director Singer also suggested that the storyline of the film set in the 1980s, could very well have new actors portraying younger versions of the main team like in X-Men: First Class.

You might know Oscar from his roles in Drive, Inside Lewellyn Davis, Sucker Punch, and soon-ish, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Fox will release on May 27, 2016.
