Captain America 3: What Can We Expect To See?

Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits digitally on August 19 and  Blu-ray on September 9,  bringing with it tons of awesome special features and documentaries.   The most interesting of these that Yahoo decided to tease us with is the Russo brothers talking about Steve Rodger’s evolving fighting style.  I didn’t notice the first time through, but the majority of the fight sequences are indeed handheld camera-shot.  Chris Evans who plays Captain America states that he doesn’t recall ever seeing a superhero fight sequence filmed and presented in such a way before.

This is a clue to what we can expect in the third installment of the First Avenger and his cinematic pieces, Captain America 3 is scheduled for release on May 6, 2016, the same day as Warner Bros.’ own Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is gonna make for some interesting  commercials.  While they’re not leaking any major details from the 2016 film, Yahoo reports the Russo brothers promise that they’re “bringing some new elements to the table that will give us a twist on Winter Soldier.”   There is also this.

Maybe this means they’ll be using the shift in the comic books of Falcon taking over the role of Captain America?  Because after this post from Cinema Blend, sure seems like we won’t be seeing Bucky with the shield.  Anthony Mackie (Falcon) says:

“I’m excited about it. I think if it goes that way in the movies that it would take a long time, because there’s so many evolutions before that. You know, I’m excited to see Sebastian [Stan] play Cap. I think Sebastian’s a great actor. But I love seeing Chris Evans as Cap, so I feel like they can go any way they want. I’m enjoying my part beside Cap. I’m in no rush to be Cap.”

The Russos are also directing several episodes of the spin-off TV series Agent Carter, debuting on ABC in January 2015 and following the character Hayley Atwell plays.  This marks the first time a Marvel female character is getting her own spinoff in the modern Marvel Cinematic Universe.  (We all do our best to forget about Elektra.)
