Doctor Who First Look: “Deep Breath”

Here is what we do know about the next incarnation of Doctor Who.  PThe episode will place the newly-regenerated Twelfth Doctor (P-Caps) and his companion Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) to the Victorian era and will see the welcome return of the “Paternoster Gang” (a name I truly can’t stand, to be honest), consisting of Madame Vastra (Neve McIntosh), her wife Jenny (Catrin Stewart), and their faithful Sontaran manservant Strax (Dan Starkey).

Jenna Coleman who plays companion Clara Oswald  is quoted as saying the new Doctor is “A lot fiercer. The man is a total adrenaline junkie.”

Steven Moffat said  “There’s no point pretending that it’s not the most interesting, dynamic thing that you’ve got to sell in that first episode. It’s going to be about ‘What’s he like? How’s he different?’ I suppose it feels a bit like a character piece, but there’s plenty of action and nonsense and jeopardy, as there ever is in Doctor Who.”
