The Hollywood Reporter ran a story earlier today stating that Fox is planning a reboot of the classic sci-fi horror/action film Predator, with Iron Man‘s Shane Black at the helm.

Black will write the treatment for the project,  and then Fred Dekker (Monster Squad) will take over the rest of the script writing duties. Shane is set to direct the film once it’s completed.

The BEST piece of news however is that original producer John Davis along with  Joel Silver and Lawrence Gordon will be producing the reboot.
