    “Mortal Kombat II” Gets Official Trailer

    This morning, the trailer for “Mortal Kombat II,” live-action adaptation of the highly popular fighting video game franchise, hit.

     Lewis Tan returns as Cole, a descendant of Hanzo Hasashi/Scorpion, played by Emmy winner Hiroyuki Sanada (“Shōgun“). They’ll be joined this time around by Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero, Adeline Rudolph as Kitana, Martyn Ford as Shao Kahn, and Karl Urban as Johnny Cage.

    Yesterday’s Johnny Cage teaser was kind of amazing, honestly.
