We are incredibly excited to see Sir Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming film “The Odyssey.” It will take it’s cues from the classic epic from Homer, and what a cast! While we don’t know all the particulars of who everyone will be playing, we know at least one confirmation.

Yes, Matt Damon will play Odysseus.

He’ll be joined by Tom Holland, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Elliot Page, Anne Hathaway, Jon Bernthal, Charlize Theron, and more.

The film is currently in production, and is reportedly filming in several believed to be real-world locations of the King of Ithaca’s adventures.

Universal Pictures’ “The Odyssey” is set to hit theaters July 17th, 2026.
