“Fantastic Four: First Steps” Trailer to Debut Next Week

Before you ask, no, it’s NOT going to be during the Super Bowl. Which is pretty surprising, all things considered. Yes, the first trailer for Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” will be premiering during “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, February 4th.

This news comes from the official ABC press site, which lists the schedule for the morning show.

Matt Shakman (“WandaVision“) directs. Pedro Pascal (“The Last of Us“) will play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby (“The Crown,” “Mission: Impossible“) is Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn (“Stranger Things,” “Gladiator II“) is Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (“The Bear“) is Ben Grimm/The Thing.

Julia Garner (“Ozark,” “The Americans“) is playing Shalla Bal/The Silver Surfer. Paul Walter Hauser (“Blackbird“) was also added to the cast, but his role is also being kept underwraps. John Malkovich (“Billions,” “The New Look“) is playing an undisclosed role in the film, and Ralph Ineson (“Game of Thrones,” “The VVitch“) will be the Devourer of Worlds himself- Galactus.

Synopsis

“Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world…Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, The Fantastic Four must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer. And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.”
