    “Lanterns” Series Gets Ulrich Thomsen as Sinestro

    HBO’s on again off again now for real this time on again series “Lanterns” has just cast a pretty big piece of the puzzle.

    Ulrich Thomsen will reportedly be playing Sinestro, one of the most formidable villains in the Green Lantern universe.

    The series will center on John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) and Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler). Kelly Macdonald (“Boardwalk Empire,” “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew“) as Sheriff Kerry, Garret Dillahunt as cowboy William Macon, and Poorna Jagannathan as Zoe.
