    “Star Trek: Wrath of Khan,” “Spy Kids” Join National Film Registry

    It is that time of year when the National Film Registry names it’s list of cinematic entries worthy of being enshrined for all generations to come. What’s kind of fun about this list is that it annually showcases not only achiements in the art of filmmaking, but cultural touchstones as well.

    For 2024, 25 films were named, and they most CERTAINLY run the gamut of movies. Things like “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan,” “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” “Cheech and Chong’s Up in Smoke,” “Spy Kids,” and “The Social Network” are just some of titles this year.

    Here’s the list:

Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band. She also produces award-winning immersive events, including Wasteland Weekend and Neotropolis.
