It’s weird to think there is an entire generation of movie watchers who don’t know the sheer ADRENALIN of Jan de Bont‘s classic 1994 film, “Speed.” The film, which starred Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves, is eyeing the big 3-0 this year. Aside from that number being absolutely horrifying, it’s also a time for celebration!

Namely, the American Cinematheque will be hosting a special anniversary screening of “Speed” at the historic Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, CA as part of Beyond Fest 2024. As part of this screening, there will be a Q & A with de Bont (“Twister,” “Tomb Raider: Lara Croft- The Cradle of Life“), Reeves, and Bullock!

It’s set to take place October 8th, 2024. Tickets will go on sale soon.
