Jordan Peele Teases New Film Releasing October 2026

While we’re not sure what the next project for filmmaker Jordan Peele is, we do know WHEN it’ll hit. Rumors are kind of all over the place as to what this’ll be. There’s the ongoing “Gargoyles” talk, a possible secret Marvel Studios or even “Star Wars” project, but the more likely…another original film.

Back in January 2024, Peele teased he already knew what his next film was going to be. And, if it all went well, it would possibly be “his favorite.”

“This has been…obviously, it’s been an interesting year because the writer’s strike had had me in a state of listening, and that’s where I need to be,” Peele said on a stop by the “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” podcast. “I do feel like my next project is clear to me, and I’m psyched that I have another film that, you know, could be my favorite movie if I make it right.”

Universal has dated the mystery project for release on October 23rd, 2026. That could indicate another horror or thriller. But it could be anything, really.

“I always have something I’m working on that I’m trying to figure out. As time goes by, the world gives me awfulness to interpret,” Peele said.

We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
