No one was really expecting the live-action adaptation of “Paddington” to become so popular, right? Like, we had no idea people would celebrate the adorable bear with the Wellies and hat. But, he’s about to go on his third adventure- this time, in Peru!

StudioCanal UK has released the first trailer for the third film. Paddington returns to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. With the Brown Family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and up to the mountain peaks of Peru.

Ben Whishaw returns as the voice of Paddington, along with Imelda Staunton as Aunt Lucy, Hugh Bonneville (“Downton Abbey“) as Mr. Brown, Jim Broadbent as Mr. Gruber, and Julie Walters as housekeeper Mrs Bird. Emily Mortimer joins the cast as Mrs. Brown. Other newcomers this time around include Olivia Colman as a nun, and Antonio Banderas.

    Dougal Wilson directs.

“Paddington in Peru” hits UK theaters in November, and in the US January 17th, 2025. Check out the trailer now:
