This just in-
some release date shakeups are happening over at Warner Bros. Pictures. Matt Reeves‘ “The Batman“ sequel had been set for an October 3rd, 2025 bow, but that’s changed. Apparently “The Batman 2” is getting pushed an entire year, and will now theoretically released on October 6th, 2026.
Thats….a sizable delay. Sources indicate it has to do with both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes from last year.
Perhaps the most interesting thing is we’ll be getting Reeves’ Capped Crusader (Robert Pattinson) along with Andy Muschietti‘s (“The Flash“) upcoming film, “Batman: Brave and the Bold.” That flick is officially part of James Gunn‘s newly launched DC Studios ‘verse, which Reeves’ projects are not technically a part of.
